Chairperson

Kazım Köseoğlu is the Managing Partner of Esas Real Estate and serves on its investment committee. Also a board member at Esas Holding.

He currently chairs UK network group of Tüsiad (Turkish Industry & Business Association).

Previously, Kazım worked as an investment analyst at F&C REIT Asset Management.

Kazım Köseoğlu earned his M.S. degree in International Finance and Banking from Cass Business School and B.S. degree in Business Economics from Brown University.

CEM ERİÇ

Board Member / CEO

Cem Eriç , CEO of Esas Properties , received his Bachelor’s Degree from the School of Economics at Istanbul University and his Master’s Degree in International Banking and Finance from Marmara University. He began his professional career at Pamukbank’s Corporate Financing Department. At Unitim Group, he assumed the role of Managing Director at Fashion Retail and Retail Group CEO. In the latter capacity, he oversaw all production and retail operations in Turkey, Russia, Commonwealth of Independent States, and Romania. In 2010-2017, he led real estate development and management efforts as General Manager in a partnership between Eczacıbaşı Holding / İş GYO real estate investment trust. During this period, he also held responsibilities as AYD Vice President, ICSC European Sustainability Committee Member, and Istanbul Modern Executive Board Member. In October 2017, he became General Manager of D&R at Doğan Holding and then continued his tenure at the Holding as Executive Board Member of Real Estate and Tourism Group of Companies. . Cem Eriç who has been as member of the Board of Directors of Esas Properties Turkey since June 2019 has been also performing his duty as CEO in Esas Properties since January 2020.

ALİ SABANCI

Member of the Board

Ali Sabancı is Member of the Board of Pegasus Airlines and vice chairperson of Mars Sportif which are part of the Esas Private Equity portfolio. He also serves on the board of Esas Properties.

Ali is one of the co-founders of Esas Social, which was established to facilitate sustainable social investment. He focuses on increasing awareness of entrepreneurship in Turkey. As the president of the Young Entrepreneurs Board in the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), he has led successful projects including Angel Investing Legislation, Global Entrepreneurship Congress, G3 Forum, Global Entrepreneurship Week and TIM Innovation Week - Born Global. He is also an angel investor in more than 25 start-up companies.

Ali is a member of the Turkish American Business Association and the Turkish Family Business Association. In 2018 he was awarded the Légion d'Honneur by the French government for his contributions to economic relations between Turkey and France.

Ali Sabancı earned his M.B.A. degree with a major in International Finance from Columbia Business School and B.A. degree in Politics and Economics from Tufts University.

ERHAN KAMIŞLI

Board Member

Erhan Kamışlı joined Esas as a board member in 2008. Mr. Kamışlı started his career at Exsa and held various positions at Akçimento. Later, he served as the President of the Cement Group at Sabancı Holding while holding the chairman positions at Akçansa and Çimsa. He was also a board member at the Turkish Confederation of Employer Associations and the Turkish Cement Producers Association. He also served on the board of Beşiktaş Football Club and is a board member of the Turkish Football Federation.

Mr. Kamışlı graduated from California State University with a degree in Marketing and International Business Administration.

Erhan Kamışlı is board member of Esas Properties and the chairman Medline Healthcare Group.

H. ÇAĞATAY ÖZDOĞRU

Member of the Board & CEO Esas Holding

Çağatay Özdoğru oversees all of Esas’ business segments including real estate, private equity, venture capital and wealth management, and serves on their investment committees. He is a board member of Esas Properties and various private equity portfolio companies including Pegasus Airlines, Mars Athletic, Korozo and Ayakkabı Dünyası.

Çağatay joined Esas Holding in 2005 as an executive board member. He played a major role in establishing Esas Private Equity where he served as CEO since 2010, until transitioning to his current role in 2019. He led a number of Esas’ private equity investments and exits of various portfolio companies including UN Ro-Ro, Mars Cinema Group and Peyman.

Previously, Çağatay was the president of IT & Telecommunications Investments at Sabancı Holding. Prior to that, he held various positions at France Telecom Group, where he last served as the executive vice president of the REEMEA region. He was also a member of the Global Operating Committee.

In 2020, Çağatay was appointed as the chairman of Turkey - France Business Council at DEIK (Foreign Economic Relations Council) and Independent Board Member of Fenerbahçe Football A.S in 2021. Çağatay is also a member of the Board of Directors at Tüsiad, Turkish Business & Industry Association as of April 2022. Previously, he served as the chairman of Turkey - Sweden Business Council and Turkey - Croatia Business Council, and board member of TBV (Turkey IT Foundation) and TUBISAD (Turkey IT Industry Association).

Çağatay Özdoğru earned his M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from George Washington University, where he received the Hall of Fame Award for Alumni in 2016, and B.S. degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from Istanbul Technical University.

MUSTAFA TERCAN

Board Member

Mustafa Tercan is the CFO of Esas Holding.

Mr Tercan, who started his career in Deloitte, after working as a partner at the international audit company RSM Bentley Jennison RSM Bentley Jennison, later worked as an Advisor to CFO in Erdemir. Mustafa Tercan has been a part of Yıldız Holding since 2010, respectively acted as the General Manager and Vice President of Financial Affairs and served as Global CFO of Yıldız Holding for the last five years.

Mr Tercan, a graduate of Ankara University, Department of Economics in 1996, is also a CPA (Certified Public Accountant).

ALISON REHILL

Board Member

Alison Rehill-Erguven is Managing Director and sits on the Board and investment committee of Pradera Ltd. She is currently based in İstanbul. Alison is the Chair of Pradera Retil Asia, China and interim CEO. In her role she oversees a team of approximately 100 professionals located in Shanghai and across assets in the PRC. Alison also oversees the asset management of İstanbul Cevahir.

Prior to Pradera, Alison was employed by General Growth Properties for nine years in the US. In her last position with General Growth, Alison was the Vice President of International, where she managed International Joint Ventures in Turkey, Brazil and Costa Rica and was a Board Director for the companies in Brazil, Turkey and Luxembourg. Alison began her retail real estate career with Simon Property Group in Leasing. She holds a BSc in International Trade with honors from the Fashion Institute of Technology, State University of New York and Executive Certification in Global Management from the Garvin School International Management, Thunderbird University. She also sits on the Advisory Board of ICSC in both Europe and Asia Pacific.

CENK ARSON

Board Member

Cenk Arson graduated BA in Business Administration of Istanbul University. Then he finished his MSc in Finance at İstanbul University and MBA at Warwick Business School UK. He started his business life as Analyst in the Garanti Bank Fund Management and Planning Department. He worked at different positions at Akbank T.A.S., Turkiye Sinai Kalkinma Bankasi (TSKB), Arti Holding A.S. Cenk Arson worked as Country Manager for EUROHYPO AG between 2005 and 2010. Since 2010, Cenk Arson worked at Rönesans Real Estate Investment, Limak Investment Holding and Emaar Properties Turkey as CEO. In 2017, he became a Member of Board at Esas Properties.
